  • Thanks AggieDee!

Those are great ones to add to the list-im not even pregnant yet and im already stressing out.

(My son was a suprise so there was no planning involved-it seems much easier that way!)

  • I talked to my doctor about an episiotomy (sp?)  I read many articles and some were pro and some were against. We decided to wait to see what happened during labor to decide. I really trust my doctor so I was OK. He ended up cutting me just a little (sorry if that was TMI Embarrassed)........
  • If you google "create birth plan", there are a few different websites that can help you put one together (or at least give you ideas on what you find important).  I put one together and then brought it to my OB and edited it based on our conversation.  I then brought her a copy to have in my file and brought one with us to the hospital (think she may have signed it, don't recall).

Just curious - do you mean your son was a surprise in the "I didn't know I was pregnant until I went into labor" sense?

no.  I mean suprise like I was 18 and on the pill and was super sick for 2 weeks and found out i was pregnant!  lol.  but there was no planning to conceive, or major thoughts into which OB or hospital..i was scared anyways it was just better to go with the flow and things turned out great.  with this  "planned" future pregnancy things seem so much more complicated! :)

Okay, that makes much more sense now!  I just wasn't sure from how you'd phrased things before.

I don't understand it either, but apparently it happens since there's a whole show on TLC all about it.
