Pregnant after 35

My wardrobe is pitful now

We're going to be moving in the next few months so I packed up all my summer clothes that don't fit and all my winter clothes (because none of them will fit by then). My wardrobe is so pitiful, and small now, a few maternity clothes, a couple of shirts that still fit and couple of dresses that still fit. My closet is so empty looking. I must remedy this problem immediately.

Re: My wardrobe is pitful now

  • Yay shopping! Have fun!

I bought a bunch of maternity T shirts which I could layer over long sleeves in colder weather (and it didn't matter if the long sleeve shirt didn't fit right) and wear alone in warmer weather.

    DD1 is 3, DD2 is 1.

  • Motherhood has some good sales right now for tees, tanks, pants, etc. And there are a lot of cute Fall stuff on Old Navy.com.  Enjoy the shopping!

  • I know what you mean....I cannot wait to fit into my pre preg clothes.  As I walked through the store last week, I was laughing to myself bc I dont have to buy any more stupid maternity clothes!  I am home free....soon!  Good luck shopping.
  • I'm in the same boat.  I plan to pack all my fall/winter clothes this weekend. I'm moving in November.

  • I am definitely looking at the skinny clothes and wishing I could fit in them.... in the stores any way.  Not much in my closet either and no point buying anything at this point.  Learning to deal with what I have.  But I have to say that I have a lot of sun dresses from old navy (not maternity) that I will still be able to wear after... but now I am thinking about it.. I will not want to wear any of these clothes once I have the baby!!
  • I was just at Kohl's yesterday and it seems they're rotating in the winter stock.   That means a lot of their short sleeved stuff is hitting the clearance racks.

Their maternity dept sux, but the Women's sizes are great as maternity wear.    However, I couldn't find a pair of slacks to save my life!
