What did you /will u need to buy for #2?

We don't need that much since I have most everything from DS, but I am going to get another crib, Double stroller, and possibly another changing table (well dresser that can act as a changing table.) Other than that, I can't think of much!

Right! See I didn't think of that, we will need another monitor too.... Do you have to worry about interference or anything when buying another monitor?

We're getting a crib from my SIL - that will go to DS. So we will buy a new mattress for that. We'll get a second camera for the video monitor, a dresser, clothes if we are having a girl, maybe a double stroller - but I don't forsee me going out alone anytime soon - so maybe not, and just little nursery things here and there. I'm sure there is more...

Baby bedding since DS will still be in his crib and using his, crib (but we are lucky to get a hand-me-down from SIL), new glider since we're moving DS's with him to his new room, clothes if we are having a girl, possibly a new dresser, but I may wait on this until the baby is older because we have a changing table that has baskets that will probably suffice for non-hang-up clothes for a little while. New infant seat and/or convertable car seat (we loaned DS's infant seat to a friend thinking we weren't having another baby anytime soon...oops...haven't decided if it's worth getting another infant seat or just putting the baby directly into the convertable seat we know we'll have to get anyway), won't be getting another stroller, just using a sling for the first few months then we'll re-evaluate the need. Will need to get some new bottles and pacis and such since DS pretty much wore his out. We aren't getting a second high chair, we're just going to move DS permanently to the booster seat he currently uses when we travel and put the baby in the high chair.

ditto monitor. We just bought another of the same monitor (summer video hand held) and toggled between the 2 stations (A in one room, B on in the other)

I also got some clothes for 2 reasons:

1. They were born in different seasons.

2. I knew Jace would get Dylan's hand me downs for most of his life and I wanted to have the fun experience of shopping for some things that would be just his.....

Oh... and a new diaper bag just for fun. The one I had would have worked fine.

Besides the big items like crib, double stroller, etc. I got a Moby wrap, another monitor, and an extra miracle blanket.

ETA: Oh yes - clothing! Only NOW is DD#2 wearing DD#1's stuff (2T size). Before that, she had an entire new wardrobe because they were born different seasons. I also needed a new wardrobe for DS.

And I too, bought a new diaper bag - my 7th one........I like diaper bags!

Crib, dresser, mattress. And of course clothes. If we have a boy we will need all new clothes. If a girl we will still need a lot of stuff since DD was a spring baby. Possibly a glider. I was going to use the one in DD's room but I think I want another for the living room since I will be most likely spending a ton of time in there with the LO and DD.

The only thing we bought was a double stroller a while after he was born.

Moved DS #1 to a toddler bed, never had a changing table, and we never used our monitors.

New clothes for DD#2 since different seasons

Another infant carseat base

Another monitor

toddler bed and mattress for DD#1

baby bedding for DD#2 (don't want to use DD#1's bedding for this one)

A new sling (didn't like previous ones) - plan to wear DD#2 for the first few months before getting a double stroller

2nd changing pad for 2nd room

Booster seat for DD#1 -- although this can wait given DD#2 won't be in the high chair for a few months.

Probably a new diaper bag just because

I only bought a double stroller and a few NB neutral outfits, as I lent away all of DD's and they were lost. Just realized I do need to buy some NB diapers though!

Crib, double stroller, bedding, and a moby or k'tan baby wrap (I didn't like the sling that I used) I want to hold out on getting a double stroller but we are going to see my parents 2 months after the baby is born so we'll need it for the airport and for once we are there.

What about a second diaper garbage (diaper genie, clean air, whatever your favorite is)? Did anyone find that you need this?

I say no to another diaper pail...with us DS doesn't go through that many diapers in a day compare to what a newborn goes through.

BUT I do need to buy: new nipples for bottles, pacifiers, monitor, double stroller, crib, changing table

Due in 6 weeks and all we've bought is diapers and wipes - yikes

well, we are having a boy, so we need boy clothes we are also getting a double stroller, another crib and the matching armoir.

the kids will share a room (a bigger room than dd has) so we are painting, decorating etc.

dd's small room will become the guest room. older ds will get the current guest room.
