NPR...RP: Kimpton Hotels

DH and I spent the night in one of our local Kimpton Hotels for our wedding night in a suite and I'd love to book another night before the baby comes. Only thing is... they are $$$$$$$! So I thought I'd reach out to my bump family.

Do any of you have any connections with Kimpton Hotels and can get discounts???

    I love Kimpton!  My husband booked us in a presidential suite (at the Lorien in Alexandria) last weekend as a surprise for our one-year anniversary.  It was glorious!  He got a deal and I'll check on that...

    Hmm... we just stayed at a Kimpton in DC for my shower -- Hotel Monaco at 7th & F. I think that it was like $150ish a night, but the third night was $17.76 since it is July and they are being patriotic. Not sure where those reservations were made though.. maybe Travelocity??

    ETA: It was NOT $150, but $150 EACH... room was shared, MIL made the reservation. Sorry if I got your hopes up! I should've paid more attention when she was talking about it!!!

    If you find any deals I would love to hear about them.  MH and I stayed in one (Dallas, TX) for our 1st anniversary and it was so expensive he wouldn't tell me the price!

    The 17.76 deal looks fantastic and is good at the dc-area hotels, including Hotel Monaco.  If you're looking at just staying one night, the Alexandria hotels seem to have great rates these days.
