XP: Nice NIP Comment
Last night DH and I went out to eat. (Yeah!) I BF Jude in our booth while eating our appetizer. A little later I got up to walk around with him before dinner to help keep him calm and happy. While I was gone the lady at the table next to us leaned over to DH and said "You guys are doing a good job. I BFed him (points to her son who had to be in his 30s) and look at how well he turned out." It made me smile.

That's so great! What a nice change from the negative attitudes so often experienced when NIP.
And yay for her, for breastfeeding at a time when it was rare in the US.

Wanna know something weird about where I live? *Bottle feeding* is looked down upon. If a baby is slugging back a bottle the mother gets the evil eye - especially from other moms. There are certain places I wouldn't want to be caught dead bottle feeding around here!
