Mini-pill

I am a new mom of a 3 month old and am on the Mini pill because I am breastfeeding. Anyone here get pregnant on the mini-pill? Just curious. I am scared to death to get pregnant again.

    A friend of mine did, but she was also having her period.  I think if you haven't had a period yet, your chances are MUCH smaller.

    I took the mini-pill in between #1 and #2.  I did not get pg while on the pill, in fact, I never got my period back until I stopped taking the pill.  I think that the pill suppressed my periods.

    Just take it every day at the same time and you should be ok.  But, you may want to look into an IUD if you won't be TTC again soon.

    This is what I WANTED to do, but my insurance wouldn't cover it and it was way too expensive. I am also terrified of getting pregnant, but I'm on the mini pill and hoping for the best!

    If you take the mini-pill at the same time every day, it is extremely effective. If you are more than 2 hrs late taking a pill, you should use a backup method...

    I took it while bfing DS1 and will most likely be going back on it once I have my 6 wk check up.

    i did, and i took it same time everyday like clockwork and used "party hats" during peak fertility times and i'm 14 weeks & DD will be 1 next week.

    The mini-pill makes me nervous, my friend had twins in may while on the mini-pill.

    Yikes! Well I do take it every day like clockwork but we do not use a back up method. I don't want to get an IUD because we want to start trying for baby #2 when DD is around 1. I guess I will just continue to take it and leave it in God's hands! Thanks ladies!
