Registering=One Big Headache!

Does anyone else completely hate the process of registering?  It's so overwhelming deciding which brand of bottles, what type of pump, etc.

Not to mention, I'm dealing with daily phone calls from friends and FI's mom telling me I need to add this, or take this off, or so and so just had a baby and said I'm making a big mistake if I choose this brand.  UGH!  Things shouldn't be this complicated!  My mom said when I was born, she slapped some cloth diapers on me and called it a day.

    Ugh- that sounds horrible! Don't sweat it- just go, register, and be done with it! And why are your friends calling you telling you what you need to add or take off of your registry? My goodness- it's your registry and different brands work differently for different babies!

    Exactly!!!  It's really my future MIL who is getting under my skin.  I registered for Dr. Brown bottles and she called me flipping out about it.  Then she called the next day to tell me I registered for the "wrong" pump.  Get over it lady!!!

    Ugh...nip future MIL in the bud now or she could become a monster.  I tried to make my MIL happy for a long time and allowed her to be overbearing and sometimes even downright nasty.  Now, when she is nasty, I civilly stand up for myself and things are much better. 

     Register for what you want.  Who cares what others think.  It's one thing if you forgot something big like a stroller, but no one should be nit-picking your brand choices...geez

    My MIL attacked me for not putting CLOTHES on my registry. ?I started out calm but realized that wouldn't help at all, so I went in her face and told her that it was OUR registry and we will put on it what we want. ?People are going to buy cute outfits no matter what, so why would I wasate my time looking for them and putting them on there? Plus, half of the stuff won't be out anymore because of the change of seasons... duh!
