What do you really think? It's my DH's dad's name. He died a year before we were married. Francis is also my dad's first name.

We had a lot of problems at the beginning of my pregnancy, and the dr.'s are calling it nothing short of a miracle that everything is fine now. DH really thinks his dad is in heaven pulling a bunch of strings for us, so he feels we really need to name our son after his dad.

I think it's a good name. Henry is adorable for a little boy, but also a good name for an adult. And I've always liked the name Francis.

And with that much meaning behind it, you absolutely can't go wrong!

I love the name on its own, and with your story, it's fantastic. I'd just make sure your DH is okay with the constant reminder of his dad--will it make him sad/bittersweet? If he's thought about that and is really okay with it, go for it!!

I don't really care for the names but with the story behind it you can't really go wrong. When you have meanings behind names it makes them all more important!

Love the name Henry. I don't really care for Francis but since it is a family name (on both sides, if I got that right) I think it will be great for a middle name.
