Question about Progesterone Supp

I'm supposed to take a progesterone suppository tonight.  I didn't get any instructions with them.  They're in teh fridge now.  Do I need to let them warm up before I use them?  any other tricks or pointers?

    i wish i could help. i am using endometrin which didn't require being in the fridge.

    I had endometrin last time, but progesterone this time, so mine are sitting in the fridge until I start them on Wed.  I just assume you take it out and insert immediately I didn't get any other instructions otherwise.

    I've been reading alot about progesterone. We haven't been trying for too long, and we're just coming off a first cycle after a miscarriage. Do you think I should ask my doc about them?

    funegirl - Yes, I think you should have your progesterone check for sure.

    My last pregnancy I was on progesterone until my 12th week. There was nothing special that I needed to do and overall it the inserts were easy. GL!

    Just insert. Keeping them in the fridge is so they don't melt at room temperature. They keep their shape & are easier to insert when they're cold, but will melt once inserted.  Disgusting but true!
    Me: 42, DH: 43. We are so grateful to have a 2yr old daughter, conceived naturally after 3 miscarriages & no treatments (our Dr. gave us 1 more month to try on our own before advacing to IVF, & we conceived her naturally in January 2010)! Trying since April 2011 without sucess....MD said we were both "fine" & that if it wasn't happening, it was a chromosomal issue. Finally started Follistim 225mcg injections with an Ovidrel trigger November 2012. Bleeding 11 days post Ovidrel on November 25th. Starting the whole lab/Ultrasound/Follistim cycle again on November 27th...
