What are the odds?

in 2nd Trimester

Tomorrow morning we're going back for rd 2 of bloodwork for the NT Scan. They are also going to do another u/s to check that the placenta has moved up, they thought it was low lying at wk 12, but my doctor is not concerned. In any case, he said go ahead and get the u/s to see the baby again.  So...do you think it's possible we will be able to find out the sex tomorrow? I will only be 16 weeks 2 days.

ER 7/14/12 6R 5F, ET 7/17 3 embies, beta #1 7/26: 147, beta #2 7/28: 326, beta#3 7/30: 422...ugh, beta#4 7/31: 607...hopeful, beta #5 8/2: 1280, beta #6 8/7: 7184 and u/s shows 1 possibly 2 sacs! 8/14 2 beautiful heartbeats! 9/24 we are TEAM BLUE!!!!!

    I would think so - My NT scan tech gave us a percentage of the sex at 12 weeks.....I will confirm it at the big u/s next week

    the chances of the prediction being incorrect are higher b/c you're not that far along.  its most accurate between 18-20wks, but there's still a slight chance that it could be wrong.

    Our u/s tech said we should be able to find out at week 16 as long as the baby is cooperative.

    Maybe.  We had an u/s at 16 weeks and they said 80% a girl.. she kept crossing her legs or putting her hands between them, so they couldn't get a good shot.  We've had two since and it's a girl.. GL!

    I found out with my last baby at 16 weeks exactly!!!!!!! And the tech was totally right!!! So yes it is possible to find out tomorrow for you!
