I'm wondering if anyone else out there feels nauseous all day. It comes and goes from bad to worse, but lasts until about 3pm. If you're experiencing this what are you doing to get you through the day? Have you tried anything that works? Help!
Just started a few days ago, but mine doesn't stop at 3. It goes all day and all night. The only thing that helps me is eating something little at least every hour.
Yes all day. I bought Sea Bands, which help a lot but are so ugly. Also, I've heard others say to suck on something sour. That made me feel worse. The only thing I can tolerate sucking on is plain ol' life savers... the name fits right now.
You're lucky yours ends around 3. In the beginning mine was from the time I woke up in the morning until the time I fell asleep (Which took a long time because of the nausea, haha) but I'm finally starting to feel better. I still have my goods days and my bad days but a lot less bad then good.
Mine is 24/7. The only thing that takes the edge off is drugs. Zofran during the day, Phenergan at night, and I'm also on an extra vitamin with B6 which is also supposed to help.
I bought seabands, but I'm not sure if they help or not.
Keeping something in my stomach keeps it from getting worse, and that something has to contain protein most of the time.
Mine starts around lunch time, and lasts till bed time. I guess I'm lucky that I don't feel nauseous first thing in the morning, when I'm getting ready for work.
I already posted this when someone asked about psi bands, but the following truly helps/helped me. . . Sea bands (I wear them all day which unfortunately means long sleeves because I have a nosy co-worker). I eat a a banana first thing in the AM (even if I have to force it down), if necessary a ginger ale and take it easy before leaving the house for work, water w/lemon, jolly ranchers, and chicken noodle soup. I also find that if I feel terrible that taking a walk also really helps! When I'm walking I don't feel as bad. I also switched my prenatal vitamins from rainbow light to CitraNatal (Rx) even though I have been taking the PVs for months and months prior and I take it at night with a snack. That really made all the difference. On the weekend I have felt almost normal, so I think getting as much sleep as possible probably also helps. I'm seven weeks and have somewhat lost the MS symptoms (cross fingers), but I'm wary they will return any time now!
I have started feeling nauseous here and there...with my last pregnancy I didn't at all but that one was a m/c. So I think a little nausea for me might be a good (if not irritating) thing Good luck!
I've been feeling queasy for the past couple of days. I've been able to hold it off today but it finally came at about 2:00. I've just been taking Emetrol. You can also try nausea pops, not preggy pops. Maybe that'll help.
Definitely talk to your doctor. I was miserable for about a week (and missing 3 days of work) and finally called my OB. They prescribed Zofran and I have already started taking it and feel much better. You don't HAVE to feel sick 24/7!! The meds really do help!
i feel like vomiting all day since about a week ago. it doesnt go away. i get hungry, then when im about to eat, im not hungry anymore. cooking and smells are the worst. i have only thrown up a few times, but wish i would just throw up to feel better (if that makes sense...)

i am the same way, feeling nauseous all day! One thing I tried that has been working lately is taking my pre-natals at night before I go to bed. Those could be part of what's making you sick, so if you take them at night, you will be sleeping through the sickness and should feel great in the morning. I also like the preggy pop drops from Motherhood. They don't work for everyone but they do for me!
I started getting m/s at the 6th week mark. I am nauseous 24/7. I constantly dry heave but do not puke. It's the worst feeling. I wish I could puke so that I can feel better. I eat small snacks (fruits, crackers) every hour which seem to help.
I have been having nausea 24/7, including waking up in the middle of the night to throw up, and have been absolutely miserable at work! I got a prescription for Zofran from my dr. today, I am praying it at least takes the edge off!
Mine starts when I wake up and doesn't stop until I fall asleep at night. I take zofran for the vomitting, but try not to take it too often because it gives me horrible constipation. I know TMI
If it stops at 3pm, that's AWESOME! That means you have a huge chunk of each day when you feel okay. I went through months of feeling like death all the time and now am down to just feeling bad in the evenings. I'll take it.
I've been nauseated 24/7 since it started. I wake up every morning wondering WTH I drank the night before for a few seconds until I remember that I'm pg.
o YES ... mine lasts allllll day. been jsut over a week that its been on a daily basis. some days, nothing i do makes it better
other days ive tried laying down and drinking gingerale. my BEST friend right now is gum. gum has gotten me through a paul mccartney concert that i would NOT miss! also a yankee game
I've JUST started feeling that way. Surprisingly, the only time I haven't felt like that the last few days is when I'm working out...strange. I haven't thrown up yet, but definitely have that gross, i feel like i have to feeling. I swear sometimes it would be better if I could throw up and not just feel like I need to.
Last week, it helped to eat often, but I still do that now and 5 min after I eat I feel like that again : (

In the beginning, my nausea started around noonish. For about a month now I have nausea all day long which lasts till about 6ish. I think work makes me nauseous but that's just me!
What I found helpful was to bring tons of fruit to work and munch on it throughout the day. When I'm munching I feel fine, but if I'm too full, I feel sick. I know everyone says the same thing, but it's true: you just have to try and find what works for you. Maybe it's crackers, maybe it's fruit, or veggies or liquids... I hope you find a balance... feeling nauseous all day long is no fun.

My m/s doesn't usually go away until about 6pm. I have yet to find a suitable remedy for relief.
