Have you looked into the vasectomy in depth at all?  I have no idea if insurance covers any of it or if it's all self pay or how much it is if it is all out of pocket. DH is going to call for a consult but just wanted to be a little more prepared.

    I'm sure DH did and I'll ask him. I will say that he's a stateworker and has been for years, so our insurance is awesome. My entire pregnancy, including several weeks of hospitalizations even before the birth, cost us $25.00. So I might not be the best source for what's normal.

    Thanks.  I'm going to ask another friend that had it done too.  My pregnancy was covered 100% other than a $75 lab deductible but I really don't know how it is otherwise.
