psi bands?

Does anyone use them? I am not liking this m/s at all. It's making work a lot harder to get accomplished (both the one I get paid for and housework).?

If you use them, does it work? Did it completely get rid of the sickness? Do you wear them all the time?

Did you order them online or did you get them at a store? I'm thinking of trying to get some today. I'll look at the local drug stores and the health food store down the street.

Sorry for the barrage of questions. I'm a lawyer who has done too many depositions I suppose. It's the only way I ask questions now! ha

Re: psi bands?

  • are these the same as sea bands? lots of people say they work, it just depends on the person. I used hair elastics which were the perfect pressure and that worked for me (although it could have been all in my head)

What part of Mass are you from?

  • You're talking about the motion sickness wristbands, right? I bought mine at a local drug store. Haven't had m/s yet (knock on wood) but bought them just in case.

The reason I got them was because a few people here were raving a week or two ago about them. Didn't say it was a total cure but said it took the edge off and made it so they could function/accomplish work, etc.

  • I'm from southeastern Mass. What about you?
  • I just ordered mine from amazon for $20 (with shipping)...they have them at Rite Aid and other drug stores but I didn't have any luck finding them. They are like Sea Bands but much more fashionable looking. Some say they work wonders while others say not so much, but I am willing to give ANYTHING a try to kick this morning (24/7) sickness!
  • southeastern, ma.

     I live in Bridgewater!

Nice to see a fellow dweller of Mass.

  • We aren't far at all! Nice to meet you!
  • Nice to meet you as well! Congratulations!

Don't worry the m/s shall fade away! There is hope!

  • I have both psi bands and sea bands (anxious traveler on planes/boats) and the psi bands hurt me if I wore them all day so I went with the sea bands and they make a HUGE difference. As does a banana first thing in the AM (even if I have to force it down), water w/lemon, jolly ranchers, and chicken noodle soup. I also switched my prenatal vitamins from rainbow light to CitraNatal (Rx) even though I have been taking the PVs for months and months prior. I'm seven weeks and have somewhat lost the MS symptoms (cross fingers). Also try and get all the sleep you can.
