Today was the "big" ultrasound day, where one could find out the sex of the baby if one wishes to. DH and I went in to our appt not wanting to know the gender, but our baby was in a "head down" position where it made it really easy for us to see what was its gender was when our u/s tech passed over that spot.

In her defense, she did tell us to turn away, but DH and I right was were were turning away, saw what it was. It was very obvious it was boy, and when we asked the tech, she confirmed it and so did our doctor.

So, we are having a boy. We are very excited, although we would have been equally thrilled if it was a girl too. DH went out after our ultrasound and picked up his boy his first pair of Nike Air Jordans. (DH was a college basketball coach).

That's SO SWEET!

It's so hard to say that you're excited about one gender or the other because you know you love your baby no matter what, but it's so cute to see Daddy's get excited about baby boys.
