    Aww thanks hon!

    Yup our plans are set, Gilroy Garlic Festival on Saturday then off to Monterey for the night and the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Sunday. Very simple, nothing fancy (even though I wanted that trip to Puerto Vallarta) but I'm sure it will be great!

    No to figure out what the heck I'm getting him!

    Sounds like you guys will have fun!!!! I had a hard time finding DH something. I ended up getting him a tool box and some small silly gifts (darts, digital frame for his truck). He loved it.

    Yeah well for some reason my DH wants to do the tradiational paper gift for the first anniversary. All I could think of were concert tickets (he really wants to go to the ZZtop/Aerosmith concert) but the cheapest I could find decent seat was around $400...so not in the budget!

    I'll figure something out I'm sure!

    Wow that is alot of money! We did do love letter for each other as the paper gift. We wanted to do them on our wedding day and then give them to each other on our anniversary..but my wedding morning was crazy and filled with drama. So for our paper gift we did the love letters.  : ) Sappy I know!

    Actually thats a great idea!!! I may steal it. With baby on the way and DH recovering from surgery (not working) that would be a perfect gift!!! Then the rest of the weekend could be our gift to eachother!

    Can I be a big sap too???

    I'll be sure to take lots of pictures to share!!!! If you can get a flight out, come join us (except the hotel part, lol)!!!! I'm hoping its lots of fun although DH reaking of garlic doesn't exactly set the mood!
