WHOO HOO - My Crib is Back!

I've been waiting and waiting and waiting for the crib I wanted from PBK to come back into stock. They took it out of their line to comply with the new no drop side cribs thing and I've been so patient, but was getting worried that it wouldn't come back in or it wouldn't come back in before Baby G arrives.

They just called from PBK at Triangle Towne, 17 came back into stock for THE WHOLE COUNTRY - had to place my order NOW. But it should be at the store waiting for me next week. AND it was $100 cheaper than the old drop side version!

    So wait--I must be out of the loop. They no longer make drop side cribs? The ones where the whole side can be raised/lowered, or the ones with the hinged sides, where part of it "folds" down?

    But yay! That's good news for ya!

    I'm not sure which it is, I never actually asked. LOL. All I know is that there is some new regulation coming out for 2010 saying that drop side cribs pose a danger to a child (I think after all those recalls from what ever crib company that was...) and they aren't going to make them anymore so PBK pulled some of theirs ahead of the game.
