Cord Blood Donation

Need help finding a good donation center for cord blood.  Has anyone done this recently and have any suggestions?

    Try the normal pittsburgh board you may get more help over there

    I delivered at Magee, and they do cord blood donation (which I did).  If you are not delivering at Magee, just call the hospital that you are delivering at and ask if they participate in donation.  Also, as an FYI, you need to register to donate before 35 weeks so that you have time to receive the kit that they send you before you deliver.  Good luck!

    The Dan Berger Cord Blood Program is only at Magee I believe.  If you are delivering elsewhere you will want to contact the National Marrow Donor Program to get the info and the kit.  They will only take it if you are delivering at a JCAHO accredited hospital.
