I walk 3 miles per day (1 1/2 miles to work and 1 1/2 miles back). I also set up a routine with a personal trainer at my gym for 3 days a week. Then, if I have the time, I try to get to the gym at least one more day each week for cardio.
I lost 10 lbs in 7 weeks! I could have lost 14--2 lbs per week--but I had a TON of family events with unhealthy foods.
Glad I am not the only one "wishing it away"! I have tried doing the Shred but I don't think my record for the last couple of weeks would justify selecting that choice!
I went back to the gym last week. I'm doing the BodyPump classes for weight training and spinning right now. I used to lift weights but want the structure of the class. Prior to that I was doing some On Demand videos (like the Shred) and walking when it wasn't too humid.
I ride my bike to work ever day and ride my horse twice a week and otherwise just try to make decent food choices.
I have about 15 pounds more now than I did before I was pregnant and I'd like to lose 10 ultimately but I'm going to see where my body goes on its own until DD is close to a year old before I worry too much about my weightloss - even with the extra 15 I'm still in the normal BMI range anyway.
When we are done having babies then I'll worry about "dieting" or doing things with the specific purpose of losing weight.
