    Fred - I am so, so happy for you guys!!!  I really hope this works out for you and D!

    PM me for my email if you want first hand experience on how we've approached extended family feel/reverse open adoption.  We have this type of a relationship with my DD's foster family (who she spent 5 months with prior to coming home to us).  It has been absolutely wonderful...I can't speak more highly of this type of arrangement.
