DS STTN until about 6 months then he just stopped. Its normaly only 1 to 2 times each night. I know I shouldnt but I am still feeding him when he wakes up at night. We are going to stop that in the next week or so. I am not into ferber or CIO, and am not complaining. More just wondering if I am alone in this.
Re: Does anyones LO not STTN Still?
still waking but now down to 2-4x/night
i'm having trouble now with him wanting to eat everytime he wakes up because he's starving and won't take plain water. not a problem at all, just frustrating sometimes
Here is what we did to help dd get rid of midnight feeding. I started to go in every night and wake her up myself 30 minutes before the previous night until she was nursing less than 2 minutes. Theory states they will drink less because they are less hungry and when they are down to less than 2 minutes (if bfing) or 2 oz (I think...sorry, we ebf) then they no longer actually need that feeding & you can drop it. It worked for us and she STTN since then. I can't remember which book I found it in (I read to many to count)
DS still wakes a few times. He doesn't eat overnight, though.

Yes, we are still dealing with night wakings although we have cut out nighttime nursing for the most part (sometimes I still cave if it's past 4 or 5am just to get her back to sleep as soon as possible).
I'm so tired, but I also cannot bring myself to let her cry it out alone in her crib... so we are being patient. We rock her to sleep and put her back in her crib early in the evening, or bring her into our bed if it's later at night.
?I'm also not complaining or looking for Ferber recommendations - just wanted to let you know you are not alone!
?Oh, and my ticker is outdated - DD is 13 months, 1 week, 1 day ?:)?
