Thank goodness, and he still has both tubes. But he is a sick little boy. They said he did fine at daycare, and was ok in the waiting room at the pedi, until we'd been there for over 20 mins and he started getting upset. Then after 30 mins I had to ask what was up and they got us back. By that time Eli was pissed! He cried and screamed, and wouldn't even let the nurse measure him. He had a fever of 101, so no shots. The pedi started to do an exam, but it wasn't going to happen. So he just checked his ears and throat and talked about his sickness. He cried and wimpered the entire time, it was miserable.
His throat is really, really sore, and he's hoarse. He said he doesn't think it's RSV b/c he didn't see any blisters in his mouth, but it might be Roseola. I guess we'll find out in the next day or two. And he is cutting his upper canines, so that's only complicating things. So I had to reschedule the 18 month appt, and they can't get him in for another month!
But, from what we could tell, he's still 24 lb, which has leveled off, and is about 34 inches tall. Which is about 25% for weight, and 90% for height! I wonder if he hasn't lost some weight though since he's been sick. Or I guess it could just be that he's walking now. He was 23 lb at 15 months.

Aw, that's so cute! Maybe we can have another GTG like that again soon. Eli decided today would be a good day to start talking about "trees" and "pretty". Not too shabby for a sick kid to pick up 2 new words in one day, and 2 that even make sense together!
Hang in there eli!
Oh no! I hope it isnt Roseola! The fevers alone with that are hard to handle. There is a bug going around right now.....all of the babies in AT's class have it. Runny nose, low fever. I hope he is better today.
No worries on the weight really. He is walking now remember, and doing so much more. I am pretty sure that has a ton to do with it. I know its hard for you to not worry bc he was a preemie....but he has met all milestones. Hugs!
