My sister is coming into Raleigh with her 4 kids (8y, 5y, 3y and 1y) on Thursday and we need something to do. We've done the Science Museum, History Museum, Pullen Park, Marbles, Monkey Joes.... and I can't think of anything else exciting to do. Its supposed to be rainy in the afternoon, so it needs to be something indoors. Anyone have any suggestions I'm not thinking of? Oh, and is the Science Museum in Durham worth the admission? It would be a lot for all of us to get in. TIA!

Re: Things to do in Raleigh, indoors with kids
Haven't been to any of these places personally, so I can't really recommend, but I have them written down as ideas.
Museum of Natural Sciences - www.naturalsciences.org
Jumpin Beans www.jumpinbeans.com $7
Kidzu www.kidzumuseum.org
TK's Jungle www.tksjungle.com
Is there an indoor pool you can visit - like a Y or similar? They normally have indoor classes for kids.
The Museum of Life & Science is worth the price of admission, but a lot of the fun stuff is outside, so if it's raining, I might skip it. If the weather holds though, they have a new dinosaur trail that just opened that I bet the older kids would love!
Kidzu would be fun too, and it's indoors. They have lots of fun activities for the kids.
