pretty sure I'm not getting enough protein

I have severe food aversions (i've only thrown up twice) but I really can't stand the thought of meat or peanut butter.  I do eat plenty of dairy but any ideas on how to get more protein in?

  • I have had the same problem and the ladies on here suggested beans and eggs.  Also, I try to eat that fage yogurt because it has tons of protein in it and I find organic rice protein powder that I may start mixing into my smoothies if the dr. oks it.
  • Eggs, nuts, beans, cheese & other calcium sources.
  • eggs, beans, cous cous (grain?), quinoa (grain)
  • I have the same problem. I have a major aversion to meat, peanut butter, and yogurt. So I've mostly been drinking milk an eating cheese.

Today, I picked up some dry roasted edamame at the health food store and I can eat that alright.

  • I don't drink coffee in the AM anymore-so I put a carnation instant breakfast in my coffee mug and drink that. I have regular breakfast (right now only cheerios because its all I can keep down) then sip my chocolate drink. It has a lot of protein and keeps me from feeling the m/s until lunchtime.
  • Ditto Carnation Instant Breakfast drink. I have one daily.
  • My doctor told me from my first visit to add protein shakes to my diet.
