Am I crazy?

I have been trying for number 2 for almost a year now (a year in september) and we have already decided on a theme (classic pooh), decided alot of things for nursery decoration, have a list of boy and girls names and even bought a few cute unisex classic pooh items. Are we crazy?? How many of you women have done any (or all) of these things?

I don't think you are crazy it's just not something I have done. I have everything saved from DS that I am hoping I can use for the next one God willing, but I haven't bought anything specifically for another baby. I didn't do it before I was pg with DS either.

I think for me it's part superstition and part practicality. I don't want to jinx anything, silly as it sounds because if it's meant to be it will happen regardless of what I buy or don't buy.On top of that we don't have the space right now to store a lot of excess stuff. Especially considering I have all of DS's stuff taking up our storage space

I hope you get to decorate your new nursery soon!

By the time we knew Rachel was coming I knew EVERYTHING I wanted for her nursery and bought most of it in a matter of a couple weeks.

You are not crazy. It took us a long time to TTC DS#1 and I had a wishlist on BRU, DH and I talked about names all the time, and I pretty much knew everything I wanted when I did get pregnant. With DS#2 I got pregnant on my second treatment cycle so it was faster than DS#1 and we had all the stuff from #1 so I didnt do that....but I think it is totally normal. Good luck!

Youa re not crazy at all. We have been trying for 2 yrs now for #2 and we have kinda talked about names. I of course have not bought anything because I have all my stuff from DD and if we were to have a boy then we would do a sports room, because that is what my DH would want. For our girl we did pooh, but not classic, it was so cute. If I have another girl I will do the same thing.

Absolutely not crazy. We have a "theme" picked out, haven't acted on it but its absolutely chosen. We have names that we've talked about. We have saved all of the clothes from DD and most were gender neutral for the first 5 mo. But I have bought cloth diapering things for another baby because we didn't start CD'ing until DD was 6 mo old so we have no newbie stuff. I buy through diaperswappers (mamas selling to mamas) and its a hassle to search through all of the posts so when I find a decent deal on stuff I scoop it up as to save me time later.

Not at all! I don't really do themes, but we have names picked out and I saved alot of stuff from DD.

Lol yeah i have saved EVERYTHING from my DD but one day when I was having a really rough time (lost all hope) I weaned out about 1/2 the clothes and gave them away. I also lent the highchair to the lady down the hall.
