Calling all ladies who have painted their bellys or plan to

in 2nd Trimester
I was thinking about painting my belly with the Clemson Tigers logo bc my husband is a HUGE fan.  I want to get paint that's safe for skin but I'm not sure where to look.  Do craft stores like Michaels or Joanne fabrics sell body paint?  Or can you use another type of paint that they do sell in craft stores?

    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    I'm going to a huge music festival and will be bearing my belly and painting it. Crayola makes a bunch of paints, all non-toxic, kid safe, so obviously safe for you. You can get it at Walmart too I think.

    Maybe try a costume store for face makeup.  Obviously anything that's safe to put on your face you could put on your belly.  I'm thinking about doing a Jack-O-Lantern belly for our annual Halloween party this year.  All in good fun!

    I don't have any specific plan to paint my belly, but my mom and sister are planning on henna-ing it.  I can't wait!  I just wish I could go somewhere tropical and show it off :-)

    I also plan to henna not only my belly but also the bottoms of my feet too. In Indian culture, pregnant women get hennaon the bottoms of their feet about a month out from giving birth and this signifies the end of them doing housework throughout the remainder of their pregnancies. Sweet!!! Also, henna has natural menthol in it so it cools your skin... if only for a little bit. :)

    I would love to do henna around my belly button, but def want to paint a pumpkin for halloween. I'll be nice and round by then. i think it looks so cute. It's like your baby's first costume!

    I think painting your belly for Halloween is cute.  My SIL was due in Nov a few years ago and she painted a pumpkin on her belly and wore a green top and also painted green vines on her arms.  Her hubby's costume: a watering can.  So cute!
