ugghh, freezer broke and milk defrosted

I found it before all of it was defrosted but some of it had started to thaw. I am going to try and use as much as possible the next day or two since it is finishing thawing in my refrigerator. I will pump and just put that directly into the refrigerator for a day or two as he drinks the milk that was in the freezer.

 I was working so hard to get a stash since I return to work in 3.5 weeks. I only get about 5-6 ounces extra a day and some days I get no extra to put in the freezer so it was hard for me to build a supply. 

The freezer was less than 3 weeks old so this really sucks and makes me mad. it is still under warranty so we will get money for all the meat and stuff we lost.

    I am so, so sorry to hear about that!  Pumped breastmilk is like liquid gold.  I hope you can get your supply built back up before you have to return to work.

    I can completely relate.  I just lost about 300 ounces last weekend.  It broke my heart.  All that time spent at the pump and all those bags - wasted.  I was really counting on that milk due to Ethan's dairy intolerance.  I'm so sorry you lost yours too and I hope you can rebuild your stash.

    Aww, I'm so sorry. It happened to me too, we'd been moving all day and came home to our apartment late to a half-thawed, broken freezer. If only we'd moved the milk to the new house earlier in the day...but it was already thawed. It's heartbreaking!
