  • Loading the player...
  • i dont have one b/c i like the good ol' fashion flipping pages and the book smell in front of me... BUT i have several friends who have it and they swear by it! they thing it's the best thing that has ever happened.. I havent received a bad review (except from people who dont have one)
  • I do not personally but know someone who does and she absolutely LOVES her kindle.

  • My mom bought one and she LOVES it. She was worried about missing the "feel" of a traditional book, but she loved how she can bring so many books with her and not take up all of the space.

I was reading it over her shoulder for a little bit, and it looks like a book would -- it doesn't feel like you're reading a computer screen.

  • I just got mine this weekend for an early b-day present.  DH wanted to give it to me before our babymoon so I wouldn't have to take a bunch of pregnancy books with me to read while we travel.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.  It's very easy to read and very addictive.  DH has an obsession with old-fashioned books (when we finally get around to moving, he's insisting on having a room he can turn into a library).  And even he said last night that he was jealous of my new toy.

I'm relatively "new" with it, but I did spend quite a bit of time with my coworkers before I decided I wanted one.

Do you have any specific questions about it?

  • I have one and love it. It's very easy to use. It is also really convenient for traveling and I think it will be nice when nursing to use since it's so light weight.
  • I got a Kindle for my birthday in June and I love it. I was nervous that it would feel like you were reading off of a computer screen but it isn't like that at all. It is really easy to use and I just found my first free book while I was searching for something to read and it is actually really good. You can also read reviews of books before you buy and get the first chapter as a free sample if you still aren't sure you want to read the book after reading the reviews. I read a lot so it also will save me money in the long run. I don't know what I did without it. Smile
  • I have a friend who loves it!!! It is not like reading a computer (not backlit) which prevents eyestrain, the text size can change, and it holds tons of books. Like everyone else, I have not heard a bad review.

    Happy Birthday!
