Oh, happy morning at daycare!

Finally, no crying this morning!!!! I have tried a few different things - dropping off at different times, have teachers walk him into the room, teachers distract him, bring in a toy - and nothing seemed to help the anxiety. Today I tried dropping him off really early before most of the other kids are there and he walked in and sat down to color with the one other little girl that was there already. No tears, just smiles! I really think when I was dropping him off later there was just too much going on - too many kids in his face, the music was turned on, toys making noise, etc. He just likes a little quiet time in there before things get started I guess. I watched him on the monitor from the director's office and he was sitting so nice and happy coloring. We'll see how it goes tomorrow!
