If you wash bottles with a brush

how often do you replace the brush?  or do you sterilze it some way?  I was thinking about this last night as I was cleaning LO's bottles.  Maybe it is time to replace it?!  Anyone have any knowledge on this?

    I just started using one.  Mine can be put through the dishwasher so
    I will run it with the dishes every time I run the dishwasher.

    I replace it every few months, basically when it starts to fall apart.  I've never steralized the brush.

    We use Born Free bottles, so we use the Born Free bottle "brushes" (they're really more sponge-like than anything).  We used our first set until the sponge parts started to fall apart, which was about 3 months.
