If you wash bottles with a brush

how often do you replace the brush?  or do you sterilze it some way?  I was thinking about this last night as I was cleaning LO's bottles.  Maybe it is time to replace it?!  Anyone have any knowledge on this?

Re: If you wash bottles with a brush

  • I just started using one.  Mine can be put through the dishwasher so
I will run it with the dishes every time I run the dishwasher.

  • I replace it every few months, basically when it starts to fall apart.  I've never steralized the brush.
  • We use Born Free bottles, so we use the Born Free bottle "brushes" (they're really more sponge-like than anything).  We used our first set until the sponge parts started to fall apart, which was about 3 months.
