In my experience, what they will do is try to stop the labor and hope that the water replinishes if at all possible. At 23 weeks, in is better than out, so I think they will do all they can to keep those babies cooking. It is also not completely unheard of that one baby could be delivered and the others left there. There are just so many factors that weigh into the decisions they make and what they will be able to do.
Don't have any info on this, but just wanted to say that I'm thinking about your SIL and praying for her and her babies!!! Hope everything will work out ok!
I'm not sure about specific chances....but I'm keeping her in my thoughts and hope they can keep the babies in for a few more weeks...28 weeks is what they are striving for my pg, but even getting to 25 weeks can be huge for the babies.

I hear tales all the time about this sort of thing (I've been in the hospital for 2 wks now on bedrest). Many here break their water and they keep the ladies pregnant long enough for babies to be viable!!! It happens with success, don't give up hope GL!!!!
