Playtex Drop Ins have saved my life.

DS has been TERRIBLE about taking a bottle since about 5 months.  I was really bad about giving him one from 3-5 months since he got so effecient at nursing.  When I tried to start up again with the Born Free (which is what he got from Day 5 and had no issues) he would take 2-3 oz and fight the rest.  Today was especially bad.  Breastmilk.Everywhere. 

I was so fed up I decided to try the Playtex Drop In I got free in the mail with the last 2 oz he refused to drink and OMG.  It was a slow flow nip, but he took it without ANY issues and even fell asleep.

I ran out to the store as soon as DH got home to get a pack of fast flow to see if my prayers really were answered- AND THEY WERE!  He just took a 5oz bottle with NO fussing, no pushing away the bottle (he even held it himself !!!), and it didn't come out of his mouth ONCE, and neither one of us is covered in breastmilk.  GOD IS GOOD.  And so is Playtex.  :)

I was getting so frustrated.  I was feeling completely attached to him since giving him a bottle was such a chore and we would both end up so upset.  I feel SO relieved now.  I have an undying love for these bottles now.

    That's awesome! Those are the only bottles Will will even touch. So glad he's taking it for you.

    DD loved the Born Free but we only ever had 6 or 8 bottles. I know we can't know if baby #2 will like the same but I'd be happy to have more!

    DD is FF and those were the only bottles she would use in the beginning. We did the same thing..tried the free one we got in the mail before she was born then ran out and bought more.

    Me too! I loved that we could go from slow, to medium and then fast flow. My mom also used these on us.
