Did you have symptoms before your first PP period?

I posted on 6-12 but so far am getting few answers.

I've been having mild cramping on and off for a few weeks and acne has returned (ick!!).

I have an IUD and will be POAS tomorrow, but wanted to see...

Did anyone have symptoms before your first PP period? For how long? Or did your first period hit you like a Mack truck? ;-P

    As I recall, my skin went back to it's old PMS-y breakouts.  Other than that, I usually don't have much cramping, and I didn't notice any before my pp AF.  As I recall, I had an 'almost period' where I had a bit of spotting and then a week or so later I got my real AF.  :(   Fortunately, mine haven't been too bad pp.  None of the horror stories for me, thank goodness.

    Mine came with no warning.  I literally felt like I had peed my pants, only to find blood trickling down my legs!  Not fun.  That was before my Mirena though.  Now they are much lighter.  Thank goodness!

    i've been wondering the same....i've spotted 2 days...once last week and once a couple days ago...old blood when I wiped...only a tiny tiny amount.  I go tomorrow to the dr to get my iud probably taken out....guess i will be told then if there is a baby in there...

    Yep, I had mild cramping off and on and my usual hormonal breakouts kicked in around that time.  All leading up to the big exciting PP period.

    Good question.  I think I'm in denial that mine will be coming back because I still haven't even stuck a tampon or mama cloth in my work bag.  I should really go do that before I forget.

    Nothing really to note.  Basically she just showed up one night and pissed me off.  I had cramps on and off for months but nothing ever came of those so I never thought anything of it.
