Hello all.. Just wanted to say hello.. I am a newbie, and just starting to lurk. I know VERY LITTLE about the whole process, and am just starting to learn! I stopped BC a couple weeks ago... but that is the only step we have taken in the process so far. I will try not to ask too many dumb questions... but since I am new... any advice as we are just starting out on this journey?
Thanks!

Re: Newbie Intro
Hi and welcome. Few things.
1. It can take a little while for your body to regulate coming off BC. Just keep that in mind.
2. Read "Taking Charge of your Fertility" asap (book).
3. Charting basel temps is the best way to know that you ovulate. www.fertilityfriend.com is what we all use. Take the tutorials. It's super easy, free and a fabulous tool.
4. TTC can be a journey. While I hope yours is short, I recommend patience and a mindset of worrying only about what you can control (ie: don't worry until you have a solid reason to).
GL to you, ask any questions you may have.
Welcome and GL!
Ditto what CathyMD said -- try to get a copy of TCOYF and also go ahead and sign up for Fertility Friend (free) and review the online lessons -- so much info there!!
Welcome! Follow all Cat's advice...she is a smart women! I agree with everything, esp the charting...you need to know when and if you are O'ing.
GL and I hope your stay here is short!!!
Welcome! I agree with PP - read "Taking Charge of your Fertility" It will help a lot.
Feel free to ask any questions. The girls on here are very nice.
Good luck!!
Hello and welcome! Your siggy picture is so cool! We had our reception in the dolphin pavilion, so I love the ocean themed pic!
I agree with what everyone else said! No dump questions, and good reading goes a long way! I learned a lot about my body during this time of trying to get pregnant. My best advice is take your temp in the mornings and get a good ovulation predictor kit. I like the Clear Blue Easy Digitals, because it either shows a smiley face or an empty circle. Very easy to understand. I know others on the board have invested in the fertility monitors, and have found them to be a good investment. Either way, it takes awhile to figure it all out, so be a little patient (even though it's hard!). Good luck!
Lizzie,
Cool about the dolphin pavilion! That sounds really neat! We had ours at the Aquarium. It was super cool! Belugas whales, rays, sharks, whale sharks, fish, and all that fun stuff!
HI!
I'm a little late to respond, but it looks like everyone has already given you great advice.
Good luck on your journey.
