Thanks for last week!

Ladies -

Thank you all so much for letting me vent about Avery's tantrums last week and giving me advice on them.  Once I started ignoring them and using silly methods of distraction (i.e. trying to put her clothes on me), she has been a totally different kid.  She still sheds some tears at daycare drop-off and cries for DH, but things have been so much better and I hope they continue to improve.

It is kind of hard to talk about her behavior with DH when he is gone because he feels like my frustrations are being put on him and that I am blaming him for being gone and then he feels bad, etc even though that is not the intention.

Y'all rock!!

    It's nice to get different opinions on how others handle things so that you can try them.  It's hard to think outside of the box when you are in the middle of it, so it's nice to get fresh ideas and if they work, even better!
