It's done
I've been home for a bit from my IUI. DH went in at 9:30 and came home and saw how worried I was so he and DS went with me. They just stayed down in the lobby of the building and outside in the courtyard, but it was comforting to know they were there. It just felt a little weird laying there being inseminated without him directly there next to me.
His count was 60 million, so what are the odds that out of those 60 million little guys that one of them can find his way to penetrate that single egg I developed? Let's hope it's pretty good!
Now the crazies will begin with the wait. They told me not to test until Aug. 3rd, but there is no way I can wait that long. I'm going to test out my trigger shot and then will probably test on 10dpiui again which will be next Thursday.

So happy that everything worked out and your DH and DS were with you! My fingers are crossed for you as you begin this excrutiating wait!
When you put it that way with the idea of 60 million swimmers and one egg, it would seem your odds are very good! That comment reminded me of when we were leaving the hospital after we delivered, the nurse said goodbye to us and to watch over our miracle baby. She reminded us that so much goes into the timing of conception...everything has to be perfect internally for a baby to be conceived. That being said, I'm hoping that you have a "perfect conception" and my good luck wishes go with you!
I'm glad they go to be close to you...GL! and remember that we are here for all those "crazy" moments!!

Girl I have been thinking about you all day. I'm SO glad that they went with you, even though he wasn't by your side. Turns out we're only about 24 hours apart in this! You're def in my prayers and I'm sure saving some baby dust for you!!!
Oh, and don't worry about those crazies...you know i'm sitting right beside you sharing them with you! LOL!
