My son was recently diagnosed with MCADD and I am wondering if anyone else is dealing with this condition.  We are working with a geneticist to ensure he receives proper treatment, but I'd love to hear from people who've dealt with it from a parents' perspective.  Thanks.

    I don't think anyone on this board as a DC with a metabolic syndrome. My DD may have one (or so we originally thought).

    My son is 8 weeks old and was diagnosed with MCAD at brith!!!!! If i can help you in anyway shape or form, please let me know..... there's lots of scary info out there.....

    we have met with specialists here in houston, and i feel greatly reassured about his diagnosis and our ability to treat it.
