FIL passed away last night

It really is bittersweet. He had a liver transplant last year and was in and out of the hospital. He got to pass in peace at home with his family, and I know he is out of pain. I just hate that he is leaving behind three (relatively) young children, and 5 grandbabies.

It is still surreal to me.

STBX actually came over late last night. He couldn't handle seeing his father be taken away. The hospice workers dressed him in his favorite outfit, and STBX just broke down after that. He asked to come over and I agreed. He feels it was meant to be that he has had to live with his parents these past three months. He was there to help his mom with his dad, and has so much more closure because of that. His brother and sister aren't faring as well. His sister just had a baby 3 months ago and is only 21, and she is just torn.
