I am overwhelmed. ?I know there has been similar posts in the past but they are buried and I can't find one. ?
I know travel systems are great for a lot of people but I am leaning away from them. ?I walk a lot and I know from pushing my nieces the travel system is not going to be good for me.
?The non travel system world is vast and scary(:
I want one that is car seat compatible
?I am looking at babybargains, and several stroller blogs. ?
What are you girls getting? ?Why?
?
Re: which stroller did you get?
I am using the same one that I had for Layla, it's a Peg Perego Pliko P3. ?I love it.?
Works with the graco carseat.. and is super easy to handle and?maneuver. ?
We are getting the Citimini -- with one hand you can pull up the stroller and it is sooooo easy! It's not really a jogging stroller but looks that way. Oh and you can buy an adapter to hit a Graco infant car seat on it too.
i'm getting a peg perego pliko p3 as well...i deliberated on the Aria OH, a baby jogger city mini, and originally the chicco trevi, but every time the others had one factor that kept me from choosing them.
the only reason we didn't go for the city mini is it didn't fold up as skinny as the P3, since we have a small car, and the car seat adaptor doesn't work for the chicco keyfit 30.
the P3 seems to have everything i need, folds up small, and weighs less.
We're getting an UppaBaby Vista.
Oops...forgot the "why". DH wants a higher-end stroller with big wheels and this was the item we agreed would be our splurge.
We are getting City Mini it works with the Snugride
Have you tried the car seat in the city mini? ?How does it feel? ?Does it feel sturdy? ?Top heavy?
Thanks?
Yep. ?I still have no problems lifting my stroller out of my car now. ?It's only 17 lbs.. and Layla is 27. ?I'm pretty sure the stroller is ok for me to lift, lol. ?That was a BIG factor for me. ?I did not want anything too heavy that I needed DH to be with me everytime I needed to get the stroller, LOL LOL
?
i'm getting the uppavista baby. I love how easy it is to work with and easy to switch between infant & toddler. I love the green color -so pretty! It's also good for tall parents.. the handles stretch out far which is helpful for me and my hubby.
We are getting the Valco tri-mode stroller. My mom is getting us it for our shower gift. Awesome!!! It does not come with a car seat, but my grama just bought us one yesterday. A graco, so I just need to get the attachment for the stroller. I love it! I've heard only good things about it, and it's also a running stroller, which saves us from having to get another stroller.

buttercup- I am really interested in the valco only problem is I really want to try it out first and I cannot find any close by. ?Still looking!

We live in the suburbs, so for now we are taking the advice in Baby Bargains advice - getting a stroller frame and a Graco Snugride. Easy and lightweight as can be. Once the baby is here and we know what our needs really are, we will invest in a stroller that fits. Since we are team green, I will be excited to pick a stoller that is a little more masculine or feminine as well.
Good luck - it is so overwhelming!

We were anti-travel system as well. We are going with the Maxi-Cosi Foray and the matching infant car seat. The stroller folds up super small and is pretty lightweight. It is also quite a bit more affordable than a Bugaboo and looks pretty similar.
Good Luck!
We decided to do 3 for different reasons:
We are going with the Chicco keyfit 30 carseat and the snap and go initially.
We are getting the Maclaren Quest as a lightweight stroller when they get a little bit older.
We are also getting the Bob Revolution w/ the infant carseat adapter for exercising/all-terrain.
Are you going to use the Chicco with the Bob even though Bob says they can't be used together? I read online that a couple people did this but I'm not comfortable. We are getting the Bob Revolution with a Graco Snugfit 32 and then probably a Maclaren Quest too for travel. If you are getting a Bob with the infant adapter, why do you also need a snap n go? Just curious.

Ditto this.
Yes we will be using the Chicco car seat with the Bob because many of the reviews say it snaps in snugly. One person even put a picture of the Chicco car seat snapped into the Bob
. We will be getting the Snap n Go for the car seat initially because it is lighter and easier to use for everyday. The Bob will be for exercise or outdoorsy things. The reviews say that the Bob is bulky so we want to have something smaller initially. The Maclaren can't be used until they are about 6 months or so at least. Do you think the snap n go is unnecessary?
