Peyton is almost 13 months and we've been thinking about taking her to a game. Has anyone taken their little one yet? We're afraid she won't sit and will want to be walking around and then we'll miss the game.
I don't have a baby yet, but i've seen some really darling infants there! I think any age is okay, maybe get seats some where wher eyou can walk around a little.

We take our almost 2 yr old to the games, she actually loves to go to the game and see the parot and all the people. you'll be surprised at how much they will just people watch. My advice is to tell the ppl at the ticket booth to give you outside seat!!! we went to one game where were ended up being smack dab the middle of the row. It was horrible. The tickets are cheap so if you do end up having to leave due to the lo getting cranky and what not it's not biggy. GL
She does love to see people and "talk" to them too. Good idea with the outside seat. Maybe we'll try it at the end of the summer when she's a little bit older. We do have around an hour and a half drive just to get there! We love going to games and just can't wait to share that with her. Thanks!
My MIL has taken my 6 month old to games. Granted, she has NO idea as to what is going on, but I'm sure she loves the stimulation. We didn't have to worry about the walking around, but maybe you can take a few things to keep her occupied if she gets ancy (I don't know what you'd be allowed to bring in, i haven't had the chance to go along)
I took DS to a game when he was about 11 months. He was scared of the noise when people cheered, fireworks went off for home runs, etc. Of course we went to a game where the Pirates won 10-1 or something so there was lots of cheering. But we went on a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't very crowded and we got seats in the Pirates Cove so we had tons of room because not many people were sitting up there. We took our stroller to the seats with us and were able to store it in an empty row. I think you would be fine to take your DD, I just wouldn't go on a Friday or Saturday night and I would definitely get seats on the 2nd level again. Also that way you don't have to worry as much about foul balls.
we just took our daughter to one this weekend! she loved it! try to remember to bring plenty of milk cause you can only buy it in the very lower corner of the park! and bring a few things for the little one to play with,we had 8 of us going(all family) so it helped out a bit we could pass her along the row and take turns taking her out to walk around/people watch! but it was well worth the time we had! especially seeing her reactions to the fireworks!
