Any way to prevent it? On several occasions, T-dog coughs/ chokes (seriously, sounds like a hacking old man) as my letdown happens (only on one side, though). I have taken to pulling him off right before it happens, but then it's a crap shoot as to whether he will latch on again (especially if this is the second side of the two).
Ideas?

Re: Forceful letdown?
This helps Maggie out. Only in the morning when my breasts are full Maggie does the same thing baby T is doing (cough/choke). All I do is pump a little and found she doesn't cough/choke a much.
The pumping a bit is the only way I know to stop it some. But that sounds like a pain in the arse to me.
I would suggest maybe just feeding on once side each feeding -- then you don't need to worry about whether he'll relatch b/c he should definitely be hungry enough to get back on, and of course you shouldn't have to worry about a 2nd forceful letdown when you put him back on after burping halfway through.
