NBR: Outdoor Storage Sheds

So we are busting at the seams in our garage.  We need to move out some stuff and are looking at sheds.  Anyone have any suggestions for one they currently have?  Ideally we would like something that looks decent and you can walk in.  We looked at Lowes and found one but I wanted to see if anyone had one they loved.

Re: NBR: Outdoor Storage Sheds

  • Know anybody that can build one?  DH is not a carpenter by any means, but he just bought some plans online for a shed and he and his dad (who is better, but still not great) built it for much, much, MUCH cheaper.  We painted it to match our house and it doesn't look too bad!

  • You crack me up...umm...yeah not on DH's side of the family.  But that is a good idea.  We hired a guy to do our fencing and he does a lot of handyman, carpentry type stuff..I wonder how much he would charge IF he could do something.  Right now the ones we like are in the 600-800 range and they are the plastic ones -- i dont think I want an aluminum one. But at the same time, if we plan to sell and leave it behind I dont care what the heck it is!  So maybe alum. will be the way to go.
