Pennsylvania Babies

When does LO no longer fit in the PNP to sleep?

How tall was your LO when they no longer fit in the PNP (the bottom, not the basinette)?

I was looking at DD in it the other day, and we have a while to go, but if she keeps growing at this rate, she'll no longer fit in it to sleep by the time she's a year old!

  • Amelia is almost 34" and I just stuck her in it the other day for a nap!
  • Loading the player...
  • Chase is over 36 inches and still fits in his.
  • Adam's around 33-34" and he still fits with room to spare. They say that the cutoff is when they can climb out!

I don't have the answer for you, but it seems like the others provided you with good information.  I did want to mention that their growth does slow down.  DS was growing 2.25 inches/month in the beginning, but only grew 1" between 4 and 6 months and another 2" between 6 and 9 months.

  • I think most PNPs have a weight limit on them. I'd say that if she seems uncomfortable in there and needs more room she has outgrown it. My DS is over 36'' and definitely can't fit in his anymore but he used it until he was about 18 months!
