Just wondering when I can join the private board?....

I'm not in any rush but I am just hoping I'm not missing anything good. I know things have slowed down on here a bit and when the PB was started I didn't pay attention on how to join because I was a brand newbie. Can someone tell me how to apply? If I'm still too new I totally understand. Thanks for the help, Marcie

    Don't be offended if you don't get approved. I was told by faery that newbies weren't added to the PB. I too thought that since I post all the time now and my PG is progressing, I could join...but from what I gathered from her response was that unless you are friends in real life or were already a close friend through the board, newbies weren't accepted.

    PM Peakay or Faery for info.

    You don't need to be friends IRL with someone from the board, you just need to show that you are an active poster and of course are not a crazy person Wink  I know a lot of girls from the private board still come here to answer any questions you gals have and we also want to cheer you ladies on as you progress through your pregnancy.

    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    DON'T JOIN THE PRIVATE BOARD - why does everyone want to be on the private board?  It is not necessary.  It's a group of people who are already friends and clearly just want to be friends with each other.  If fewer people joined the private board and just stayed here, this board would be a lot better.

    I'd rather talk about poop, sex and drinking on a board where my MIL/coworkers/husband couldn't lurk and see TYVM :)

    Are you serious? I guess with only 26 posts you're new and wouldn't have any idea about much of anything around here anyway so I'll chalk it up to ignorance if you are. The purpose of the private board is to have the ability to filter out the fakers and lurkers that the Bump is unable to filter out.  They simply don't have the time or resources to properly screen individuals and we've had enough people come on here with stolen baby and ultrasound photos.. so we made a board where REAL multiples moms can talk about issues without fear of psychos. Once you are an established Multiples Mom you'll be able to join the board, follow the advice given above. (Not Barb's advice, the real advice).
