I am going to start by saying when I saw you yesterday I thought wow, B looks great! Seriously, I noticed and sincerely thought you looked fabulous.
It has taken me forever. I am right around my pre-pregnancy weight and have been for a while...but my body has changed. My hips are wider and I am JIGGLY! I am working on it, not always eating what I want (except yesterday, thanks to halfpint I ate cheesecake) and working out as often as my body and work schedule allow. I need to workout more and cut out the carbs if I really want to lose it...I am getting there and going to get back on track after I return from my upcoming trip. I do Strollerfit and will follow the South Beach diet...at least phase 2.
My baby is almost 8 months and I still havnt lost the weight. I've eaten horribly sinve she was born and limited exercise. I think its the Bfeeding that has helped me loose some if not i would have probably gained. I havnt seen you since you had the baby but when u were pregnant you looked great!!! Your baby is not even 3 months and on top of that you had them back to back ..... you should give yourself a break, it will come off.....
I'm still up 10 - 15 lbs. I don't expect to lose it until I'm done breastfeeding. My body seems to need it to produce milk. It's kind of depressing that I can't fit into any of my old clothes but I'll worry about it when I'm done bfing and still can't lose weight.
It took me about a year to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight. Granted I was probably underweight to begin with. I wish I could say I lost the weight with exercise and diet, but I didn't lose it until I was under a lot of stress at work. I need to get back into the gym to tighten up. I want my abs and butt back!
With Alex I lost it pretty quickly. With Foster I am still about 10-12 lbs over what I was. I think it is because I am still breastfeeding. (I only breastfed Alex for a month)
Mom to Alex - 8.29.06, Foster - 1.22.09, Emily - 6.24.11
You never know what's going to happen, and your little girl is still so young. Some people keep some weight on as long as they are breastfeeding, and others don't. For me, I ended up below pp weight several months after DS was born, and I know it was due to breastfeeding. I was a size or two below normal and felt slightly underweight, and once I got down to one feeding and then weaned around 18 months, I started gaining and got back to a normal weight for me. I hope it's as easy with #2, but I'm not counting on it.

Thanks... However, I will not lie... I was wearing Spankx.... A girls best friend.... I stopped BFing due to the rash I have everywhere... It's been almost a month since I stopped... I've been doing 30 day shred and WW.. I dropped about 8 lbs super quick and now nothing.... urgh...
I lost 95% of in the first few weeks, then the last like 5 pounds came off when i went back to work (12 wks) (I think it just took me moving more to push it over). However, this is kiddo #1 for me. I have heard it gets harder with each one. :-(
I can fit into my old stuff - but I, too, am more 'jiggly' :-/ (not that I was tone before, but I can tell a difference in the skin firmness).
Brandi, Charlotte, & Kelley - Since I've seen you all recently I can honestly say I think you all look wonderful and I wish I looked half as thin as you all look!
It took me 6 months after Reagan to get in my pre-p clothes. I'm a little over the 5 month mark with Abby now and keep fluctuating at 5-10 lbs over my pre-pg weight. The hips and flabby tummy are what's keeping me from fitting into my pre-pg clothes. I'm honestly not really doing anythign about it. I really want to but I guess my will isn't there because I haven't pushed myseld to find the time. Seriously, when am I supposed to work out? I have the 30 Day Shred but haven't really done it other then once. My eating is ok other then a bit of a sweet tooth that is not normal for me but I think if I culd just work out I would seem some changes.

I left the hospital weighing less than I did pre-pg, and was 6lbs down at 2weeks postpartum.
It took me 6 months to fit in my pre-pg jeans.
Weight and gut shape seem to have no relationship after a baby.
Ditto, you looked beautiful!
