so my induction date is scheduled. while we are still hoping and praying he will come on his own it does feel good to know that there is at least an end in sight.
So Tuesday evening we go in to start the induction process. First they will start with a prostaglandin gel or pill and then bring in the big guns Wednesday morning.
So my question...what can we do while we wait around Tuesday night? Any game ideas or thing to bring to make the time pass? I can only watch so much TV and I have a feeling I will not be sleeping all that well Tuesday night.
Re: Things to do in hospital while waiting?
We played Carcasonne, played cards, read my book, watched Kung Fu Panda, and I watched a few episodes of Friday Night Lights through netflix.
Maybe a portable dvd player if you have one. Maybe the baby's scrapbook if you are doing one and need to get caught up, or a journal to write in. Other than this, ditto what the other posters said makes sense too.
I'm thinking of bringing a stack of magazines and maybe Uno-to play with DH. What are you suppose to do with your DH?
We were in the hospital last night because I got really dehydrated...he was so bored, he turned the tv on and started watching Oprah (the only thing on), it was all about the female orgasm--he loved it! Then, like a little kid he starts playing with buttons and hits the call button--he claims he thought it makes the recliner he was sitting in actually recline!
