If you have Munire furniture...

in 3rd Trimester
Did the crib come in a box?  (I'm assuming its the only thing that's not put together yet) How big?  I'm looking into renting a U-haul for DH to pick up the furniture Friday (I REALLY want it in the nursery before our last visit from family before the baby comes... that will be in two weeks).  I *think* I have him convinced IF it will all fit into a cargo van instead of getting a truck... (Saves us $40).  The dresser and hutch will fit... the nightstand will fit... I'm just trying to figure out if the CRIB will fit in there... the matress isn't a huge deal, we can always pick it up when we're in our regular car if it doesn't fit, but I think it will... Feedback?

    Yes our Munire crib came in a box.  We were able to fit it in our 4 runner with the back seats folded down... a tight fit, but it worked.

    How much space was left?  I know a twin size matress and box springs fit into the back of a 4runner.... there was tons of room left ON TOP of them, just not any on the sides or between them and the seats or the back hatch.

    We have a munire crib, it came in a HUGE box. We took DH's 4 tacoma and put it in the back. The sales people at BRU did ask what we drove because the particular crib we got wouldn't fit in an SUV. We put the mattress in the back seat (we have a 4-door). You could call the store and ask how big the boxes are and what they suggest. They were very helpful when we were picking ours up.

    DUH!  Why didn't I think to call the store?  (Maybe its because they don't respond to me when I call- but DH calls and we get a phone call back with an answer in 3 minutes)

    LOL, I think they must like husbands because they were joking and laughing the whole time with mine too. Have him call and I'll bet they even give measurements LOL!
