My 36Cs fit like pasties

I read that you may be able to make you bras last longer if you use extenders. My bras actually reach around just fine. It's the cup that's the problem. I'm normally a 36C but now the 36C bras fit like pasties. I didn't realize my breast got that big already at 19wks. I have been wearing sports bras.

I read that breast were only suppose grow 1/2 pound each for the entire pregnancy. I know I have about two extra pounds each.  I'm concerned about how much larger they are going to get. I'm only halfway through my pregancy and want to breast feed. I think I'm a double D now. I haven't seen bras any bigger than that at the PX. I'm oversees and I don't have access to a fitter.

Has anybody else grown more than the average?

    I went from a B to  D, so to me..that is huge.  However, most of that growth occurred in my first tri, and I read that normally it slows down for the rest of PG.  I dont know if that helps, hopefully your breasts will stop growing soon!

    I was a 36C as well and now am a 36DD. (DH thinks its wonderful). Like PP my growth was all 1st tri of boobs jumping out to existence and then stopped. From what I hear/read when the baby comes is a nother major growth when the milk comes in. I got my bras at our exchange on base - you can even measure yourself online before-hand if you want to be sure fo the right size, most sites have how to measure properly and I know for me if my bra doesn't fit right I'm annoyed by it all day. Sports Bras most times are my friend, especially cause I only broke down and bought 2 bras.

     

    P.S. I SO second the nipple pastie comment - thats what I constantly said - try puting on a pre-pregnancy bikini top... :-p

    I showed them to the DH on webcam and he drooled. He'll be joining me overseas on Monday. Last time he saw me I was about 8wks and they were too sensitive to touch.

    I'm worried because the women in my family (both sides) have cup sizes that I can't begin to guess what they are. Like after being pregnant they didn't go away but continued to grow with each pregnancy. I liked having just handfull, 36Cs are perfect.

    I went from a 36B to a 38D and I hate it. ?I keep praying that they are done and just grew early but I'm thinking that's not the case :-( ?My boobs dont fit in some of the maternity clothes I bought! ?

    I started out as a D, and I know I'm much bigger now.  Maybe DD?

    My boobs exploded from an A/B to about a C in 1st tri.  I've always said I wanted bigger boobs, but I want my itty bitties back.  My problem is that they aren't stopping....they are still growing.  I'm borrowing bras from good girlfriends and my SIL.  We live in the country, and I can't get to stores enough to keep upgrading.  Please tell me these things will eventually stop...I'm starting to get stretch marks on them. Crying

    LOL at subject line!!  I'm normally a C and am currently a double D at 19 weeks.  My boobs always get huge during pregnancy but if I remember correctly it happens in the beginning and they just stay the same throughout.  My boobs grow faster than my belly in the beginning then my belly catches up.

    Thanks. This post has helped. My boobs are growing the same way.  At 19 wks my boobs stick out further than my belly and it makes me not look pregnant. I hope you are right and they stop.

    I went from 34D to 36D to know 36DD. Luckily I was able to buy some really nice and comfortable bras on sale. My friends have commented that they thought I looked pregnant by my boobs first and the bump second!

    I ordered from blushmaternity.com.  They are based in Britain and carry all sizes (I am a 40G atm....started as a 38F)  I haven't noticed much more growth in the boob dept lately though.  Best of luck.
