customer asked how much farther I had to go

Yesterday one of my DH's regular customers called on the phone
He said how are you feeling? I was caught of guard & just said fine
Then he said how much longer do you have :O(
I had to tell him,?
It was awkward, I did not cry, my voice did not break but my heart ached.
He was nice, he backpedaled, said oh my wife had two losses one at 13wks & now we have a beautiful baby. Then he asked if we are still trying..blah,blah,blah?

The funny thing is all I wanted to do was hang up & sign on here to share with you ladies. (I cannot bump at the store it sets a bad example IMO for our employees) I have not told DH that it happened because I know he would not even understand. I am so glad I have this board, somedays it is the only place I feel normal.?

Oh but I did sneak on yesterday real quick at the store in the back office to get my siggy piggy on :O)?

    I too am glad to have you girls to vent to... especially when the hubby (or anyone in my little NY world) doesn't seem to understand.  ::Hugs::

    Im glad you didnt lose it and I cant believe you dont bump at a store where you are the boss!!! I would so pull the im the boss card! Smile

    I am barely there in the summer, I figure I can show some restraint... but when Christmas rolls around & I am (figuring how PG I will be based on no show AF)??ohhh 3 months pregnant & working 6 day weeks I will certainly be bumping whenever we are slow. ?

    Aww that sucks but it sounds like you worked your way out of it pretty well.

    While I was getting my B/W done this morning, a "special" man told me he liked my shirt and then proceeded to ask me if I was married, and I said yes. He then said how man children and I told him none. He then told me he hoped I would have a bunch. It made me sad but he was a sweet man.
