My microfiber STINKS. Help!

I use HH and BG's and I have noticed the microfiber inserts starting to smell. I did a load of diapers today, added some dawn to the cycle even, and they came out of the dryer still smelling a bit...they don't smell clean. I feel like tossing all my microfiber and getting all hemp! My hemp NEVER smells.

 

Ideas? I am currently using Purex F&C for detergent.

    I never had the not clean smell in microfiber, just the ammonia.  Maybe try the oxyclean + vinegar soak?

    agreed on the bleach.

    our usual wash routine is:

    cold wash w/planet liquid

    hot wash w/planet liquid

    extra rinse

    When they start to smell, we add 1/4 to 1/2 cup bleach to the hot wash.  Stripping helps, too, but not as much (and imo stripping takes FOREVER! I have to do so many no-detergent wash cycles to get rid of the Dawn residue.)
