Jogging Stroller?

Geez, sorry I'm being a PW today! The wheels on his Chicco stroller are slowly but surely wearing thin. We average about 25 miles a week on that thing! So, I've thought about getting a jogging stoller. Can anyone recommend theirs or help me as to what I should look for?

I have a BOB revolution that I use for running. I like that the front wheel can be locked out (for running) or allowed to swivel (for walking). It "drives" beautifully, is well made, and not super heavy for a jogging stroller.

We love love love our BOB jogging stroller!!! DH has an REI credit card and he used his reward points/dividend to buy it--it's expensive but I was willing to do this.

Things to look for--type of wheels--OK for sand or not? OK for water or not? I think most also have the option to click the front wheel into place so you can run in a straight line and then it unclicks for steering around. I think BB says no jogging strollers until 6 mos of age or good head control b/c of all the bouncing--but checking to make sure DC is "big" enough for the particular stroller you are considering. Look for storage and organizer things on them--the BOB has an attachment thing that holds drinks and has a zipper pouch that we have found very handy.

I also have and love BOB. Check Amazon frequently for deals on it. I bought it on sale at REI and then Amazon had it for $90 less than their sale price so we returned it (before I even had the baby) and got it from Amazon for relatively cheap. It happened to only be the color that we wanted that was on sale so we got lucky, but if you are flexible on color you might also find a good deal

Awesome! I was just going to ask if these things ever go on sale - they look so fabulous but kinda pricey. I'll keep my eyes peeled

I got my BOB stroller in January. . .REI puts them on sale every year in January. I think you can use other REI coupons and points on them other times of the year.

Things to look for - does it have a swivel front wheel or not. Does it have actual air tires that you pump (much smoother ride).

I have this Jeep jogging stroller. It's a great stroller, but the lack of swivel wheel makes it really annoying to turn. I love, love, love the built in speakers for your Ipod/MP3 player.
